It must've been so hard for Olivia being away on tour and losing her grandpa in the last few months. At her Netflix premiere she mentioned that there was a moment at the Manila concert where she was holding back tears because she was thinking about her grandpa and how he sadly wasn't ever able to see her perform in the Philippines. It would've been so emotional being there. I hope Olivia continues to get a lot of support from everyone throughout her career because she's the kind of person who really is beautiful inside and out and is just so talented.

I like how she shared her experience in the Philippines, but she did not mention the part where she only sold all of the tickets for $25.71, with 100% of the net proceeds going to charity for Filipino women. I was lucky enough to watch her show when she came in Vancouver and it was one of the best concert experience I’ve seen. She continues to reach so many milestones at 21 years old. This girl is so down to earth. I remember seeing a video of her pretending to hitchhike on the road and she was picked up by Jimmy Kimmel as a surprise for his two kids on the way to School. His 9yo daughter was speechless that she was sitting right next to her idol, Olivia. Then they all sang their favorite Rodrigo songs in the car together. It was priceless.

I've heard nothing but positive accounts regarding how she treats everyone and she really is the kind of person I'm so happy see succeed. Huge congratulations to her for being named Billboard's Touring Artist of the Year and having a sold out world tour in 22 countries at the age of 21. It's clear that she's put in the hard work, continued to hone her skills even after such a successful debut, and that she's someone with real substance. That kind of mindset and solid foundation (especially in someone so young) bodes very well for her future.

And the fact that she's also such an incredible live performer, as well as a talented songwriter and vocalist - so excited to see whatever she does next. I also really respect how she hasn't gone for easy cash grabs and that though she had the demand for a stadium tour, she said she wanted to connect more with her fans and not skip any steps. Plus her embracing the pop rock vibe and not just going with what's easily marketable, not to mention her donating proceeds from her tour to a charity fund, further shows her substance far beyond the surface. Just so proud of her.

@@flojoens7854 yeah i can genuinely say that her concert is among the very best i've ever been to (and i'm in my 30s and been to a lot of concerts over the years). olivia's vocals and stage presence are brilliant and it's no wonder why her tour received universal acclaim. also totally agree with you about her having real substance. i really appreciate how even with her massive commercial success she's remained true to herself and made such engaging and well written music. at 21 she's already received general public recognition, grammy awards, praise from critics, and has a huge loyal fanbase who will grow with her. there's so much to be proud of, especially when she's such a genuinely kind person too. sincerely look forward to continuing to support her in whatever she does.
