I feel sad for Kate, especially from her pov as a mom, having to go through such a scary procedure and dealing with also protecting the emotions of her children. It’s heartbreaking, but I don’t think it warrants any negative comments toward Kylie as she directly said so many times throughout her vlogs that she wasn’t saying what her opinion was and just was reporting what she was seeing from this current event. She looked into this all from a point of concern and was never being malicious. She likes the royals and even mentioned many times how she hoped that the negative theories she was reading from the media was NOT the case of what was truly going on. For centuries, people have always talked about celebrities and current events. While unfortunate, that is a major part of being a public figure, as Kate is. Kylie wasn’t creating any of the news going around - she was just talking about things she was seeing, along with the rest of the world. If someone is to blame for the theories we were all seeing, it’s large scale media, not a KZbinr in a daily vlog.

My daughter is an artist and she has a KZbin channel. Last week when she was home for spring break she was editing her video and all of a sudden a bunch of her clips were just gone. I felt so bad for her . Idk what’s going on with tech right now.

Let’s just chill. The palace was at fault here. The only reason this went to shit was the photoshop pic they put out then let a woman fighting cancer take the fall for. We were all concerned, and they could have nipped this in the bud if they had just not posted that picture. It got out of hand but they specifically told everyone it was a non cancerous diagnosis. Let’s put down the pitch forks and focus our energy on how shitty the palace handled this. We all make mistakes we don’t need to go crucifying everyone who speculated.

Actually the insane conspiracy theories had started before the picture. And Catherine took responsibility for it because that’s the kind of person she is. The Palace team work for her. They said it was non-cancerous in January because AT THAT TIME it was believed it was. The cancer was detected when biopsies were done post surgery. Catherine literally explained that in her video. But all of this is because people don’t listen to or read what people actually say. Like: Catherine is recovering and won’t be able to return to duties until after Easter. If people had listened to that then they wouldn’t feel so horrible now for harassing a woman who took the time she needed (about 3 weeks, since we know when the diagnosis was given) to process this diagnosis and tell her three young children in the safest and most comforting way. (Children who would have heard all of this speculation by the way, because they don’t live in a bubble). People should feel bad for speculating. People should reflect on this. It’s not on PR, it’s not on media. It’s on everyone who gobbled this up as entertainment. When Diana died, the public went over the top demanding to see her children in the middle of their grief. And criticised the palace for not showing them and keeping them away from the media. And now they’ve done it to William again, and no one has learned anything. I’m glad she took the videos down. The very least that can be done.

@@brikhouse22 oh she did edit the picture. She’s been taking and releasing her photographs for years - she definitely works on them post-shot (as most photographers do). This was just a terrible job. So of course she took responsibility and didn’t throw a staff member under the bus. I imagine it was also a way to avoid days of media requesting answers on who did it, because as we now know, she had received her diagnosis and was focused on that and preparing for treatment and how to tell her kids.

I don’t think people are turning on her. We love Kylie, but sometimes people are wrong. I think people think she was wrong for making the videos speculating about Kate 🤷🏼‍♀️
