Pretty much all I listen to is rap but something about Olivia is amazing, it might be the production but she definitely speaks to a wider audience than someone like Ariana grande or Taylor swift who people who aren’t in to pop (like me) aren’t really into. Definitely not her target audience but damn… I feel like anyone can relate to it in some way for sure.

This is not a dig at Olivia, but as someone who isn't into pop music but also a fan of this album...It's a little funny how having a writing credit, even among others, is considered an achievement lol. In Hip-Hop that's the bare minimum. It's just funny how shit is different across genres. I guess it makes a little bit on sense though, In Hip-Hop, lyrics are arguably the most important part of it, so that would look funny if you had other people writing for you. DISCLAIMER: If you're about to comment about ghost-writing or just having writers in Hip-Hop, yes that's a thing, but It's not respected in the community. People who aren't Hip-Hop purists won't care, and many of the purists will still be cool with your music, but we won't allow you into any "top rappers" lists.
