It's weird because you'd think based on her screenpresence and acting ability she would be plugged into that aspect so much and not necessarily be suited to step into a directors chair. But listening to her talk I kinda can't believe how she wasn't allowed sooner. She speaks with the imagination and authority of a great director. Can't wait to see what she does next.

@@meena9134 I mean... that is pretty damn close to the actual ratio between whites and blacks in this country, so...*shrugs. Hell, that was more or less the ratio in my high school growing up, which was not that long ago, so it's pretty accurate. And apparently I went to the most diverse school in my area. Still, considering what this show is... kinda weird place to promote this kind of film. Regardless, checked out the movie a few days ago, it was pretty good.
@meena91345 жыл бұрын
George Daugherty I’m not trying to make it a “white black” issue. The ratio I provided was between white and people of color in general, which could have been far more diversified. But if we are talking black people, I read an article describing Jessica Williams’ character(teacher) as “-a purpose that skirts the Magical Negro trope of appearing only to help white characters.” 🤦🏽♀️ smh

Punishing murder does not stop it entirely, but it reduces it. Abortions would go down heavily if not legal, there are a million abortions a year, that'll be cut by a lot. I dont see how you can hold 2 thoughts at the same time, that there is something immoral about it, but it should also be legal.
@lilnotmaster60942 жыл бұрын
Wydm? You saying abortion should be allowed?
@shauryadivya17362 жыл бұрын
@@lilnotmaster6094 no. I am pointing out that simply because a few abortions will still happen, does not mean that we shouldn't ban it. It would be akin to saying that murder should be legal because if it is made illegal, people will murder illegally. Most meaningful laws legislate morality, and if you believe abortion to be immoral, you can't just let it happen.
