Well done Olive. ❤ Many thanks for publishing the episodes of your pilgrimage. Thank you especially for going the extra mile and finding the time and energy to film and create videos for others to enjoy. I walked the Camino Frances at the same time that you did so many memories have been brought back to me by watching your journey. I am 66 and I am in no way as vibrant as yourself but I did start and finish with a feeling of happiness that accompanied me along the way .

Congratulations on completing your Camino, Olive! I was moved by your arrival to the Plaza in Santiago, and your thoughtful answer to why you walked the Camino. I feel like you perfectly encapsulated the beauty of the Camino: it strips away all the noise of modern life to simply experience each moment, good and bad, and each day on its own. If we learn anything from our time on the Camino, may it be to embrace each day away from the Camino as we would on the Camino. Buen Camino Olive.

Olive, we watched your journey day by day. And at the end, just like you, I had to cry. You did well, and I think I learned a lot about how I would like to structure my own camino. Better weather and probably days off just to reflect about my journey, and to rest. Well done and buen camino

Bien Hecho, Peregrina! You accomplished the Camino in 31 days; amazing - my first Camino I did in 33 days with 4 rest days. This year, as you said - the why is in the journey; so I will slow down and complete the Camino Frances in 45 days. Thanks for sharing your journey and Buen Camino in life!

Thank you! ♥ Slowing down to enjoy the journey is a great decision. If I walk the Camino again, I'll definitely do the same! 🏞 Buen Camino! 🌟

Lol Hi Olivia, this is Eddie! We walked together for a while. I just randomly remembered that you were shooting videos on the camino and the thought came into my head that I can probably find your youtube channel. Glad you had a good time. So crazy to come back months later and remember it. Feels like it was a different era. Nice that you managed to get into youtube just like you wanted to! Just wanted to drop a hello!

Omg, hi Eddie!!! How are you? I’m really glad to hear from you! It does feel like the Camino was ages ago, and we also walked together at the very beginning. So much happened after that! We met during the ‘complaining about the highway’ stage! 😂 And yes, those were the early days when I was just hoping the channel would get to where it is now... crazy to think it actually happened! 😲 I hope you’re doing well, and remember: WE ARE THE CAMINO!!! 😂

dear beautiful Olivia 🫒 ... there it was - the very last camino day, and the clip flew by so fast... your conclusion of the message the camino has for us, is very much also mine... my guide book had the subtitle 'der Weg ist das Ziel', which means: 'the walk is the destination' - so, so true! ...I didn't have by far so much rain, than you had to endure, but the very last day into Santiago, it rained for hours 'cats and dogs', as the English put it... I was soaked, but took it lightly, like a purification before entering the holy city! I can pretty much copy what you said about those different feelings on arrival... it was all a bit in a haze & daze... and the thought of the question I was asked a few days before, whether I would cry, was with me... but it was rather a feeling of overall numbness, mixed with a deep, happy satisfaction to have 'made it'... then I found that cafe in one of those cobbled and twisted alleys around the cathedral, ordered a coffee to celebrate, and also to slowly calm down from the on-storm of mixed feelings... thats when I suddenly heard the music from inside the cafe, and my tears immediately began to roll, and didn't want to stop for a while 💦 PS. I later on bumped into a group of my walking family, and the one with the question was with them, and we hung out together for a while, and joined a street party with live music, that was going on close by... I was overall very, very happy then, and it hugely helped having friends around me to share this... 😄 I had some more time at hand and stayed 2 nights in Santiago, and then my partner arrived on the airport, and we traveled for another week along the amazing coastline... glorious memories... 5 years later I walked the same route again, starting at the Somport Pass (east of St.Jean), walking the Camino Aragon to Pamplona, where it merged with the Frances... 🚶 good bye for now, Olive - such a pleasure following your footsteps, thoughts and feelings... big camino hug to you... til the next adventure.... 🌄😎🌅🌇🌆🌴🍷🍌🥾👢💖

Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! 🌧☕ Your guide book's subtitle couldn't be more fitting! It's really interesting to hear how our reflections and conclusions align so closely. 😊 I also stayed in Santiago for 2 nights, then travelled to Lisbon and Sintra with my partner for another week! 🏰 Thank you so much for following along with my journey and I'm looking forward to sharing the next adventure! 🏞🌍 Big camino hug right back at you, and until the next time! 🚶♀🏖🏜🌄
