Always my fave part of the week when your vloggy vlog shows up on my page :) I joined the library thanks to you!!! Couldn’t be happier! Especially that they do audiobooks too! Cancelled my audible membership straight away :) With the skin.. i had a terrible hormonal acne when I was in my 30thies and absolutely nothing helped (well it seemed like it). After doing loads of research, what seemed to help is a bunch of supplements. I took Dim plus, saw palmetto and a homeopathic sulphur supplement. Along with a strict skincare routine, I started seeing big improvement after about a month. I am not a doctor so please do your own research in regards to the supplements I mentioned (and anyone who might be reading this too plz) but This little bunch helped me so much when the antibiotics struggled. Katherine Arden’s other series is one of my all time faves! Old Russian gods/lore in the time of the spread of christianity. Very vibey, gorgeous writing, one of the best finales I’ve read!

Katherine Arden's The Bear and the Nightingale is soooo good. One of my favorite books I read last year. It's a fantasy inspired by Russian folktales and has magic and creatures throughout (and no fae). Its part of a trilogy called Winternight. I havent gotten to the prher 2 yet. I also have to read my library books in order they're due. Since they're primarily through Libby and were long holds I have to so i dont end up back at a months long wait.

I'm reading a new release by Lisa Scottoline called The Truth About The Devlins. Just got it this evening and I'm already at 59% on my Kindle. The 1st person POV is really propelling the story for me. Alllllmoooost thriller-ish. And I agree with you (if I'm understanding correctly) about YT reactions to books and it's why I've never cared for reviews - I really don't care about opinions on their reads because my taste is highly likely to be different. What I DO want to know is that there's a book out there I didn't know about before and maybe I'd be interested in it. And that's why my channel is 99% looking at new releases each week in different genres -- I want to know what's out there and do I want to read it.
