The dice is made of maple and sipo. The magnets aren't as strong as a wished, so it takes around 1 or 2 minutes to stop. Not super practicle for playing board games, but it's still a fun toy and very hypnotizing to watch it go round and round.

Beautiful work as always. If you do more, adjust the arrangement of sides. Dice are marked with 6-1, 5-2, and 4-3 as opposite faces. The opposites sides always add up to 7.

@@tin-man5687 This should be generally, one way or another, true for any other dice based on the other solids -- one way or another, the opposing side(s) have a specific placement in "opposition" to properly randomize the number rolled.

Amazing work, so beautiful piece. Just a little mistake :( the opposite sides of the dice must have a value of 7...6 opposite 1; 5 opposite 2; 4 opposite 3. Just a small detail. Congratulations for the final piece!

Aime vraiment ton travail.

@SuperJ2133 жыл бұрын
Well, I guess the focus for this guy is making awesome things with his lathe while the details of what goes into the work (or video) are beyond the scope of the project (i.e. numbers in the right places and using "insure" instead of "ensure" at the end of the video). I'll admit that those details do taint the overall experience for the viewer if caught. Perhaps ignorance truly is bliss.

True confession: there was a bit of shock and outrage when I saw you start to round out that gorgeous die. And, part of me still thinks you could have stopped there. But, the die-ball is awesome.
