That is a VERY nice Welding Cart. I have one that I am working on that has the welder, plasma cutter and gas torches all in one, but I don't think it will roll in the Florida sand to well. This is he only video I have seen that gave me welder Flash Burns to my eyes. I am still seeing spots.

A lot of thought and design went into that project. You are most likely someone who lays awake at night and designs things over and over in your head … til you finally doze off,, I can understand that, I find myself doing the same thing. Great creativity !

Thank you for sharing I'm in a wheelchair and I want to make a welding table but not to big just looking at many video's to see what kind I'm going to make. By far the best one I seen yet for me.
@Ollaris5 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much. It might be not ideal for you in this particular hight and weight. It’s pretty heavy but i think you could alter the design to make it a bit lower and maybe with a smaller bottle. I think you could use the space underneath to get closer with your wheelchair. And im sure you could fold out the table part if you make it a bit lighter as well.
@snoopu26015 жыл бұрын
@@Ollaris thank you yes I was thinking the same thing I'll just get smaller square tubing and make it to my hight 32-34" . I have done many drawings of just the table I like the set up for the welder your right I probably won't have the bottles but I will make a spot for them just in case. I'll find some good casters for the table. There is a store in Berkeley California just for industrial casters they have all types of wheels. I have a place for the table but if I need to move it to a diffrent location I want to be able to move it. I see other people making welding table but they need a Crain to move them. I don't want my welding table like that. I know what you mean about the small table being heavy. It's like my GMC Suburban tail gate it is very heavy to lift even the back door over the tail gate with the window very heavy to lift I couldn't lift it because I was sitting to low.
@MnktoDave5 жыл бұрын
I like your design for that fold down wing. It's flat, quick to set up and take down, has adjustable feet, and takes little to no storage space. All the best features for a good quality, portable welding table. Nice! I built my table with slide out wings for both sides, but they don't store with the table, and they take a little more room to store.
@Ollaris5 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! It’s a bit heavier than i would like to roll around when working outdoors. I might downgrade to a smaller tank though.
@MnktoDave5 жыл бұрын
@@Ollaris Yes, I completely understand what you say about the weight! My main table is 39" X 48" (w/o ext) and very heavy to move around, even with good castors. Each extension gives me another 3' on both sides (totaling 10' in overall length for large jobs) but adds a lot more weight. That was why I decided to make them slide out instead of folding, but I really do like the compact folding design of yours. Since it's such a beast to push around, I also made a 2' X 3' top (1/4" thick) that quickly fastens to my Harbor Freight 1,000 lb lift table, and that's often what I use for smaller jobs. It works great, moves around easily, I can set the table at any height I want, and when I'm done I just remove the top and store it out of the way on my lumber cart. I find myself using this one way more than I ever thought I would because it's so handy, and if I'm working on a taller project, I just drop the table and it makes everything so much easier to reach. I'm looking forward to seeing what you build with your new anvil and table.

I have to say with no doubt that you have built the best welding cart that I have ever seen built on KZbin. I love how you use that round stock and put it on for the handle with notching around stock to match the square stock. I have never seen anyone do that. So once I get the technique memorize I'm definitely claiming it for myself telling everybody I came up with that idea -) but seriously I don't even know how you came up with that idea for that cable to come out. I don't think there's a part of that cart that I don't love. I honestly think I'm going to give it a try over the winter since all my projects are normally done by then. I've been looking for something to do during the winter since I'm retired and I'm not going to go outside in the cold. I rather spend it in my garage working on something. I must definitely hit the subscribe button and the like button. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I love this welding cart plus table, great idea!!! Most perfect idea i do watch here is you tube, the only thing I would suggest to change its the position of the table respecting to the wire feed hatch door, if the wire feed door was at the right side of the machine wouldn’t have any difficulty to change the wire rolls but it will be under the table so you have to change the roll underneath the table or taking out the machine off the table in order to change the wire easily.... anything else it’s perfect i will keep it in mind, thans for sharing 👍🏼😎🇵🇷
