@@mauroktd Well, I mean, that's only true in the technical sense. The word which "pepperoni" is derived from is both Italian in origin and near-identical - it simply refers to a different foodstuff. So to claim it "isn't Italian", as if to imply that the word has its etymological roots in something completely different like Russian or something, is wooden reasoning in my opinion.

@@rejakecap My mom's signature dish is actually oncom spaghetti, one day I was hungry as shit and wanted some sphagetti but she only had the raw spaghetti and she already cooked oncom for everyone else in the house and she was like "here, came up with it on the spot, dunno how it taste" and my Indonesian ass wiped that plate clean and asked her if i could bring that for tomorrow's lunch at school. Pepperoni is not an Italian word, Pepperoni is a spicy salami produced in America and Canada, it has nothing to do with Italy. In Italian with the word "Peperoni" (with just one P) is what we call peppers.
