Thanks for this, very useful. For others doing reassembly, I found that taking off the bottom plate and feeding the spring right through was easier. That way I could get the top (with more of the moving parts) settled with the pins in nice and easily, then just wrestle with the spring and baseplate.

No worries 🙂 And you're right it is way easier to go through the bottom for the follower and spring but TBH I often do it with one hand and the other one just holds everything in place. The fastest possible way 🤣 more time for shooting!

I also found out that undoing the baseplate on top of undoing the upper is easier than only the latter, as wrestling in the spring from the upper while still needing to hammer the pins together is a much bigger pita than wrestling the spring from below

Thanks for another helpful video, Ollie! Unfortunately, the tiny spring in the guide arm went flying into the void as I disassembled. Any idea what size spring I need to replace it?

Same thing happened to me. I took apart an old mechanical pencil and cut the spring to fit.
