Olly drops a straight fire killer song on us then bounces the fvck out for two years. So everyone, set your watches for two years from now and he will lay a new fire track on us. I wish he would load up some YT content. He would have a million followers overnight.

@@Solid_Dude Olly’s right hand technique is almost exactly like John Browne and John brought that from Fell Silent. Olly is absolutely a brilliant and amazing guitar player/ musician but i disagree about monuments new stuff. John is a super strong hybrid rhythm player and the new album still screams Monuments. Is it like the last 2 records, no cause they were groovy AF and had olly and Chris. But new monuments line up is a beast!! Wish Olly threw his flair in and was still with them, 100%!! But with or without him Monuments will still be Monuments ☺️

The sharp, precise, and channeled aggression of guitarists like this just do something to my nervous system. Something real good. There's a certain peace brought on by a well orchestrated instrumental that just can't be done with spoken language. It's like a procedural or technical way of expressing the madness of the human condition. It's the feeling of absolute controlled chaos grounded in rhythm and melody. It's incredibly articulate and complex, but the rhythm connects everything and makes it easy to understand. The melody pulls you in and keeps you there, where you've always wanted to be. Feels like a brain massage. Anyone else get that?
