Making Kitchen Doors

I'd intended to add narration to this video. I wrote the script but, no more than a quarter of the way through, I found myself struggling to read the words properly and scrapped the idea... I've been lacking confidence in all areas of life, lately.
I hope you appreciate this video.
It was back in December 2013 when I came up with the idea to make these doors. I acquired a few scraps of birch ply, cut them to size and grooved them on my router table (a few months before shelving it in to storage with my other machines).
I'm pleased that I can now reflect upon another finished job in this flat. Living and working in the same space is not always a pleasant or healthy experience.

A superb job Olly ! I just wish I had your skills .....I took up wood turning/working far too late in life, so much to learn and not enough time. Not to worry about the narration mate and the confidence ,we all go through some awkward patches, you only have to look at some of my videos, no script and wing it lol. So therapeutic to watch! I'll be challenging myself to fit a utility kitchen in my conservatory this year, but have been wondering about making my own cupboard doors too for fun, so it was very useful to watch :) And regarding your description... I know it's easily said than done, but try not to beat yourself up ;)

Thanks, Vikkie. :-) I've never actually done a kitchen but I wish you well with your conservatory project... And look forward to the videos! If you get your workshop set up, I imagine the doors could be made without too much trouble. If you can make one, you can make half a dozen, right? ;-) Thanks also for your kind words. You're quite right; I find it too easy to beat myself up and I haven't felt settled in life for a long time. Hopefully I'll be able to make changes this year.

That has crossed my mind. I don't have anything on hand and I'm reluctant to spend money when I'm looking to move out... But I'll keep my eyes open, next time I'm in a DIY store.
