I'd enjoy some tutorials covering on how to get started with painting and over painting my renders. How do you decide what you model and what you paint in photoshop? Why did you, for instance, paint the street signs and the stone details on the wall instead of modeling them?
@OlofStorm4 жыл бұрын
I find that if I model too many details I end up painting less meaning it looks more 3D. I quite like having the 3d guide me and then draw in the details for all the objects. But it totally depends on what shot.

Can you say any program to make medieval city, for illustration? and maybe ue4 is more suitable for modeling the architectural environment?
@KogureDevilchan4 жыл бұрын
What would be the best way to go when creating a background you're gonna pan across? Just creating a very big render multiple sizes the final movie/AE compo resolution or is there a simpler way? Getting confused because sometime it would look a bit distorted because of the FOV. I'm using blender btw, but probably same concepts as in C4D.
@OlofStorm4 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on how much depth your scene has but could you otherwise have a wider camera for the main projection painting where you export it in a higher resolution foe painting and then when projecting and moving another camera that would be a more zoomed field of view.

Hey, could you do a video like this while using free software if you know any? I know it's a big ask. And I'm currently learning Maya. But most of these programs are outside my budget.
