This video stunned me since it wasn't the Magsaysay Avenue I remembered from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The population is growing, and once-famous sites have been changed into new structures.

The old Magsaysay Drive is long gone and not so forgotten to many veterans of the US Navy and USMC, my 1st time in Olongapo City was in 1972 Magsaysay Drive was red clay dirt at time if I remember it was paved in 1973 or something like that Sad but the old Olongapo City will never return I am still able to remember where places like The California Club, Purple Haze Mariposa Pauline's Sierra Club Florida Club Jolo Tijuana Blowing Alley Brown Fox just to name a few the American Legion is still in it's same spot. Kongs Restaurant is still there Sam's Pizza still there Lots of Memories

Wow! I stumbled down that road, watched & participated in riots in the clubs during the early 80's as a young Marine on board the USS Tarawa LHA-1 😅 Sure didn't look like that back then!

I would be lost it has been so long. The Clubs are gone , Blow Up. The Florida , Banaue. The Peoples Cafe . The Iron Butterfy owner Ambie Villanueva . It is good to look at times I miss the rooster crowing in the morning. The smell of barbecue at night even the calling of " BaaaLuuut," at curfew.

I was there in 1990 and really miss it, especially the ladies. I used to hang out at the Rock Trax. The streets look so different now
