Olson SJ James Taylor Cedar and Rosewood

This beautiful guitar is a 2007 James Olson SJ built as a James Taylor clone. It has a really beautiful warm and lush sound that is just a joy to play! The Cedar top has a really beautiful silking to it like I've never seen in Cedar!

A number of years ago I visited Olson's shop and played a few of his guitars. James had just sold a guitar to an 'investor' who dis not play guitar. Olson said 'Hey, you can actually PLAY guitar". We had a good laugh at that one.

Bobby what is your pick up preference (KK?) and do you use pre-amps?

@@jasper_north K&K pure mini into a Baggs Venue has been my go to for the last 10 years or so. This one has the Baggs LB6 installed like JT uses.

@@RockinB23 Thank you, yes KK pure here but sounds muddy into my ACUS8 Ferdi amp. Ordered KK XLR preamp, should give it a boost.
