Thank you for this wonderful treasure!! I wasn't able to watch daytime tv for years, and never saw this the first time around. I didn't even know who RH was, but was curious when he returned to OLTL as Todd. I'm so grateful to watch these clips, and get the back-history. I can see now why so many made such a big deal over RH. I'm now an RH fan for life.

While stranded, Tea and Todd finally do the deed. She declares her love. But he tells her that he loves Blair and quickly leaves the island to get home. That's got to hurt! Less risky to stay with her. They could have explored their new found intimacy. But he wants to go asap. It's not surprising that years later she berates him; resenting that he "abandoned" her and also that he rejected her, not just here on the island but in general. Glad for her that she found Victor. Todd loved her as a person but was just not that into her.

Lol. Some men & women cant cry. Although he did manage to cry for the " i was nothing but a monster " scene. In an interview w/ rh & susan he said in 94 he was in awe of her acting & she taught him so much. So i think given susan was sobbing & the real finake of the t&m rape saga he was so moved he was able to cry. We saw the tears well up & fall from him face. I know marty goes to touch his face she seemed to try to relate he was human & she was moving on b/c she wound up touching his scar & feeling his tears. People say it was to touch his scar i think it was the tears b/c thats what showed he was human. The scar was a just a scar a sk8n reaction he couodnt control. Tears when ur saying ur sorry are human. A robot an animal cant cry. An animal can scar a robot can get scratched. Anyway rh was able to pull off the tears b/c the writing the story & susan & roger were pure brilliance & acting soul mates in a soecial moment in time that won emmys got mainstream & tv press & very 90s. Watching susan & roger it made u hold theie breath & they had such trust to do all those scenes of todd grabbing her covering her mouth getting on top of her jerking her around hard pysically even dream sequences. Sorry as great as rh is w/ everyone nothing can capture todd & martys chemistry.

Melle anytime I feel sorry for tea I remind myself that she married him for money while Blair was rocking a coma just after her baby died, then they teamed up to take her other kid away, then tormented her into the window push by then the sorry feeling goes away and I think karmas a bitch.

She'd talk to Blair about what's best For Starr and schooling Blair on her own daughter. That is absolutely one of my biggest pet peeves in fiction. Completely turns me off to characters.

I wish Blair would stop bashing Todd and accusing him for everything that has happened to her. She lied to him every chance she had. Yes he did wrong things but so did she, she is not blameless. Don't get me wrong I believe Todd and Blair belong together, but enough is enough. She tells Starr she will not prevent her from seeing her dad yet the minute he returns she does just that.

Sam has some nerve. It was none of his buisness to keep bothering blair. Plus he hid matthews paternity for years from bo ! So bo who yes was a hideous dad to drew but still sam had the nerve to stick his nose in tnb's life & family yet lied for years & got a petermity test changed. Matthew had to be like 7 in soras time but in real time he was born in 99 & nora somehow found out when sam died ( i wasnt watching much after rh left in 03) that he knew all along the baby was bos. Sam also grabbed blair & made out w/ her while she was happily married to todd. I always hated sam. Loved when blair dumped him . Yet he still wouldn't stop. He busted up their 4th wedding to be to proved todd tricked blair the mob was after her so he could have her stay in the penthouse w/ the kids. Like sam enough. None of ur buisness.

Todd's Mafia plan had actually worked. He got Blair back again and they were so happy to be together. It killed me when Todd said his reason for the plan was, "I just wanted to be with you and I couldn't wait." But Sam wouldn't let them be happy. Jealousy probably.

This is summer of 02 yea Roger was a baby when he started on oltl he looks like a baby here and he started 9 years before . Check out clips of him in late 92 early 93 when he slept with marty consensual one time he looks like a baby with baby fat . And so freaking preppy with argyle sweaters ans collated shirts . I think he was only 22 or 23 sp here he's like 31 or 32. Tea looks so young here as well. So funny bc I didn't notice watching live bc I was like 21 but now looking back it's like damn todd was such a hot guy I always thought that even when he raped marty I still had a crush lol ok ok it's only a soap . Is it me or is todd super sweet and normal letting tea down gently. I think he had great affection for tea like a best friend he was comfortable with and respected her being a lawyer and that they both had no mom's . They have good humour together I think more than he and blair . It really hurt him to let her down. I felt so bad for tea imagine u finalky have sex with the man of ur dreams and he says I'll always love someone else and then in a few months finding out ur pregnant with that guy u will never have s baby .

I absolutely hate Todd and Blair as a couple... Sorry but there is nothing that can be done that will make me see them as this fantastic couple because if that was ever true for them, it was another time another place. Todd and Blair's relationship is empty, that's why they can never be together for any real length of time. All they have is the melodrama of them TRYING to be together but once they are, there's already something in the process of taking them apart. They simply don't work, and the producers and writers know that, that's why they are just this never ending on off crap cycle. Their "epic" romance is all a gigantic illusion. Todd had so much emotional connection with Tea that felt deeper and more genuine than anything he ever had with Blair, and it is such a travesty to me that all the possibility of what they could have been together was thrown away so they could prop this nonsense with Todd and Blair. I will always be a TnT shipper and a part of me will always mourn what could have been

That's why he dropped her like a bad habit to go back to Blair, and didn't look back, even when he came back from the island, he didn't tell anyone to go find her, he didn't try to help her get off the island, he immediately forgot she existed. Blair however, he could never forget. Even when he tried soo hard to.

Sorry but respectfully, there is no amount of reconning or propping that is ever going to make me see Todd and Blair as this fantastic pairing... Will. Never. Happen. Ever. Everything you just said is indicative of all that artificial propping to paint Todd and Blair as THAT couple. When it comes to them, they just want to slap them together and call it love because the writers are relying on an old glory to carry them through, and it doesn't work for me - they don't work for me. I think I heard somewhere that back when TSJ was playing Todd before that whole 2 Todds storyline (totally ridiculous) even he was questioning why they keep rehashing the TB romance when it ultimately goes nowhere in the end. The batch of writers that took over for oltl in the 2000 era really ran that show into the ground over the next decade. If you compare the storytelling and relationship developments to pre 2000 years, what a difference. They crafted relationships that felt meaningful and they had storylines that made sense. After Roger Howarth came back in the 2000, they slowly but surely demolished his character and made him into a shadow of what he used to be. That's why I was so glad he left the character eventually. If Todd and Blair were ever actually good as a couple, that was long ago. Another time and place. After Tea, Todd and Blair are just not feasible for me because they both outgrew that relationship. To make them work, you have to throw them backwards and that's a disservice to both they're characters. They just don't work. Again, sorry but there is no situation you can construct for Todd and Blair, no amount of times they can have him say he loves her, no amount of other characters on canvas saying how deep and great they're love is that is ever going to make me buy it. Todd and Tea are an example of a missed opportunity. What they could've been trounces anything that Todd and Blair are. What a waste

MrCastiel28 Lol, Even in the 90s during the Todd/Tea. RH and KDP played their roles like Todd and Blair were soulmates and that he didn’t belong with Tea, so there was no retconning. FL who plays Tea even said in an interview that she always felt that in the back of her head Tea always knew Todd really loved Blair. That was happening in the 90s even when he was supposedly in love with Tea and over Blair, he still declared that him and Blair were soulmates and were destined. There was no retconning, the 2000s were the writers fixing what they messed up in the 90s. You can live in denial all you want but it’s the truth. Even when the real Todd came back (a great storyline because TSJ was never believable as Todd) FL said it makes sense that he was the real Todd because the real Todd would never choose Tea over Blair, evidence of that being right here when he after they FINALLY slept together, he left her stranded on an island to go home to Blair. RH actually stayed as long as he did in the 2000s because he trusted the people that were writing Todd back then, but then the writers changed in 2003 and he didn’t trust them so he left, good choice too because what they turned Todd into during the TSJ era was a real tragedy.

@@nyeishaclark95 we're going to just have to agree to disagree on this. I saw Todd in the 90s and when he was with Tea, he gradually did move past Blair. Blair hooked up with Sam then Max and by that point, he WAS past her. He may have still had love for her as a woman who was once important for him, but he wasn't in love with her anymore. He was moving on and wasn't bothered that she was as well. Then he came back without Tea and then they started this insta romance stuff with Blair and it was downhill for him from there. And the argument that he didn't sleep with Tea back then because he was still so into Blair is incongruous with how he was depicted towards the end of oltls life cycle because he had relations with Carly from GH and he had nowhere near anything of an established relationship with her that had any weight to it. That's just inconsistent writing because that's just not what Todd's about - he's not a sleeping around type. Todd and Blair were just seen as the more easily bankable relationship because of they're past popularity. But they outgrew each other long ago, that's why they could never be together for any great length of time.... The idea of them together is greater than the reality of them together. Just never gonna win me over to see them the way u do. Sorry

He also even told her, when he was with Tea, that they were soulmates and will always belong together, that’s not moving past someone. This was all in the 90s when they were trying to sell the Todd/Tea dead romance. I don’t have to convince you the proof is literally in the writing. Even in the 90s where you keep saying he was written the best, the writers were telling you who was his true love and who was temporary. Also it’s a Soap Opera, lol. The journey of two people getting together is always drawn out more then when they actually do get together, literally EVERY popular Soap Opera couple goes through this, not just Todd/Blair. That’s actually how I knew that they were endgame because if a Soap Opera spends time breaking up a couple and getting them back together, it usually means because they are the destined couple. EVERY Soap Opera does this with there most popular couples. Also I do agree that Todd is not an overly sexual person so putting him with Carly on GH is very weird to me, that’s also how I knew that TSJ wasn’t the real Todd because he was wayyy to sexual.
