RH was the only real Todd. He originated that character, & knew every cell of what made him exist. RH has always been one of the best actors on tv or on the screen. I'm an RH fan forever. I could never accept TSJ as Todd, so I stopped watching OLTL. However, I believe that TSJ is a fine actor. He should've been left as Walker. He also did a good job playing Victor, after RH came back to OLTL as the real Todd.

Powell has aged really well. Geez. But this whole make Todd pay scene was played out much better between him and Roger when Powell became the hospital rapist. This is just a rehash...tho the addition of Todds loves is interesting. TSJ just doesn't have the gravitas to play really heavy scenes tho...

True. Trevor is a better "Todd" for the 2000s but Roger was a better "Todd" for the 1990s though.

He didn't just 'abandon' the role. It was things like the writers trying to make a couple out of him and Marty plus the toll of being such a dark character all the time. He was in I think Soap Digest talking about needing a change.

It’s a shame they rewrote this. This is why I hate Valentini and Carlivati. Always taking on legacy storys and making them worse. But Powell had a few good arguments about Blair here

No offense, but I just still see TSJ as Walker Laurence, not Todd Manning. TSJ is a great actor, but he's not in Roger Howarth's league. Roger won an emmy in '94, what emmys has Trevor won?

that just does it for me no matter who might be the better actor. RH version of Todd is much more savage than TSJ he much more smoother. and just because you dont like TSJ version doent mean hes anymore less of actor than roger. and about the Emmy there are certain instance where i and if you guys be fair and just admitted it where he should have won an Emmy for some of the scene that he was worked. ok ok enough said just thought i had to defend my boy

Sorry I think it's clear to most people RH is a much superior actor. TSJ is good, and they could have kept him on as Victor, but he isn't really in it with RH, who was and is the best actor on soaps.

ok ppl i have to comment on this b/c its insane. i notice both actors or different and have a different take on todd and how he should be portrayed. and you have to give TSJ his credit and his dues as much as RH. to my neither can pull off or portray the other version because they are both uniquely actors with different styles. and frankly he must be doing something right to get you to come here and watch and comment on what he doing. i like RH version too but the something about TSJ version

Fake Todd could never fill the shoes of the original Todd, Roger Howarth. These scenes are too weird to watch without the real Todd Manning. Sean does look good her . Nice to see him back even though this was back in 2009
