Lmao Olu Dara is too fly!!! In his 70s not looking a day over 50! And Nasir is such a beautiful name. I always said one day when God blesses me with a son I'ma name him after Nas. He was such a big part of my youth and I've only grown to love him more as the years went by, contrary to other crushes lol.. I was never really one for crazy celebrity crushes but Nas has been the prototype since I was like 7. Crazy. He is timeless. God bless his mother (RIP) and father for raising a king! 🙏🙏💞💞

@BreuckelensFinest8 жыл бұрын
I'm going to explain this as simply. directly & as a matter of fact as possible. What pop is saying is, as a soul we choose our parents before birth & have an influence over the decisions of those parent's. Yeah, I know you're thinking Jungle was born second, so Nas should have the influence. Not necessarily. Those two souls (Nas & Jungle) were deciding during the birth of Nas, who would incarnate into his body, either Nas or Jungle. Nas chose to. This is common culture & knowledge of the ancient Kemet (Egyptians), Native Americans & the Dogon Tribe, among many other African Tribes. In my research of Edgar Cayce (the sleeping prophet) he explains this very well for all to understand. Nas is exceptional at what he does bc his father made him read books about this ancient knowledge that I speak of. Hence why Nas is so deep & extremely genius. Great example of this is in Nas's verse in the song, The World is Yours: "My strength, my son, the star will be my resurrection Born in correction, all the wrong shit I did He'll lead a right direction." This is an Egyptian proverb & influence on Nas's verse. Check the metaphor, My Son (the Sun), The Star Will Be My Resurrection (the Sun is a Star in the sky resurrecting, everyday, beginning a new dawn/day/cycles, giving & birthing a new life, Jesus Christ/resurrection, etc.), Born In Correction (again the Sun rising every morning, goodness, hope, new day new life ), All The Wrong Shit I did He'll Lead A Right Direction (Self explanatory). Again, Nas is extremely profound & genius. And this is a direct influence of his father & Jungle is a direct influence of his father choosing his mother. And this MiGente (My People in Spanish), is how I "Work[ed] with that!" ;-)
