I've heard somewhere that the dragons of Old Valyria in the ASOIAF universe could reach sizes bigger than Balerion's like Olympia has -- I dont know how canon it is, but imagine you're a rival nation going to war and suddenly the horizon is blacked out with the shadows of hundreds of fire-breathing war machines this size 😭

@@woodie3030 thank you very much, and belive me, it’s only because my pc is so fkn beefy it didn’t crash/doesn’t crash constantly with Olympia spawned. (Crash in general with this games being so badly optimized.) I’ve crashed 3 times in my 80 hour playtime. (And those times were not the pc’s fault) Belive me there’s a reason I brought this beast last year🤣 Specs: CPU: i7-13gen GPU: 4070 RAM: 32 GB SSD: 2TB (don’t remember what kind nor speed, but it’s obviously not slow)

@@woodie3030 I’ve heard that too, however I don’t belive they would be that big, maybe half would be more reasonable. But that’s still about 3-5 times bigger than balerion….. sooooo they would still dwarf him and almost any city. The horizon would definitely become black with just 2-3 of those beasts. Olympia however would only be needed one of😂 I honestly don’t think they would use 100, they would just be in the way🤣 BUT! MY LAWD A POWERMOVE THO! Having just ONE the size of balerion, imagine having just one 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 or 10 times bigger like Olympia😳 I honestly think my body would shit itself and then die🤣

@@shewolfbangtan Balerion was so big his shadow engulfed a whole town when he flew. His skull was downsized for practial reason in hotd. Still, I hope he'll be very, very big in adaptation :D

@ he was absolutely huge that’s for sure, I’m not even sure if the size up I made was quite big enough. And yes, house of the dragon definitely made his skull too small. But when you consider a dragon being 100-120 metres long, it would need a 200-300 metre wingspan. So that would definitely be enough for a small town to be engulfed. I just hope they do him justice🙏🏻 and I might even have to measure my balerion in game to make sure he’s the right size. If not I’ll obviously change it to the accurate size.

Yeah... See this is why I i don't understand the GoT/HotD's persistent and nonsensical placement of the dragon saddles ALWAYS being between the shoulders. Once you hit wingspans of 40ft+, the rider's field of view is drastically reduced. Honestly, once a dragon becomes big enough to support a rider+saddle on their head, imo thats where the saddle should be. Straps and support can be mounted to the base of the primary horns, with additional stabilizing straps on the secondary and tertiary horns on either sides of the head. Now the rider has as full range of view as they can possibly have, and since the head is the steadiest part of the body in flight, they're also not getting violently ill from feeling pitched and tossed about - like you would if you were actually riding on an animal's BACK during flight.

The only time I see a “head saddle” being a total bust is in a fight, which they seem to have quite often sadly. But maybe that wouldn’t be the case if you could be chomped up THAT easily.

@shewolfbangtan sure, maybe it looks ridiculous, but who's gonna say that to your face? Nobody, because right behind your face is another much bigger, scaley face full of huge teeth that breaths fire. And you might think that, but consider this: what is the first thing any animal, including a human, protects in a fight? Its head. And when animals fight, they don't even target the opponents head, per se - they go after whatever body part is closest, and ideally, they want to get at the vital organs and the weak points - so the underbelly, the throat, etc. Frankly, if you're riding a dragon that DOESN'T protect its head first, that doesn't mean you're any safer riding on its back. It means you're just not safe riding it, no matter where you put the saddle.

4:56 this right here is a dream. Gods, what I wouldn't do to have a dragon, let alone all of these 😭 I just love them so much. I have Ark, but Evolved. I like playing solo, so I wouldn't mind buying Ascended, so long as I could chill and just fly about all day without anyone to bother me. How good is the flying system or the animations in general, can you do more beyond rise, fly straight, and dive? More than anything, is it too hard to set up the mod and the dragons? Ahh, and the sleepy/waking animations are killing me. Too cute. I also read in another video that you said your OC Olympia is 500 metres long. That means her wingspan must be even bigger. Do you have any idea how big? Deathwing, for reference, has a 365 metre wingspan, which is the height of the Empire State. Your monster of a girl would maybe dwarf him. Please share more videos! Flying or petting the dragons or whatever you can do with them. This content is joy for my soul. Sorry if the comment was a bit long, I got excited.

Luckily the spawn rates have been nurfed so the chance of getting pounced on by 5-20 dragons while trying to dart the ancient one is pretty small.

Damn the big model give me anxietiy of all these buggy manoveurs. on a cluster we have Horizon wyvern and they also sized up and mega buggy and stupid to play, the modder isnt interested in fixing that. Olympia is for ARKs map definietly ato big oversized wyvern. i would not have fun with it to fly. i prefer the small ones and adjust them make them more smooth faster and agile without looking like served on a twinningplate
