Lovely--the long sweeping moves across the ice, the beautiful extended leg positions--these are things we have lost in the competitive skating, which is often more about how many triple axels or triple toe loops rather than expression of the music. Flowing, relaxed, expressive, truly superb and a joy to watch.

Umm... she's an AMERICAN. 2017 United States champion. Represented the USA at the Olympics in 2018 and 2022 and was part of the silver-medal winning team at the latter (which will be upgraded to a gold medal if the Court for Arbitration in Sport rules fairly and disqualifies the cheater Valieva for using banned substances and voids Russia's placement, and clean sport demands).

She’s lovely to watch. I wish skaters and ISO would stop making quads the gold standard bar to be reached. Artistry is lost most often. It’s not that fun to just see (mostly men) doing quad after quad and every component in between meets the mark but is uninteresting and flat. She’s lovely here and artistic and enjoyable.

品川プリンスホテルで踊らせてもらったの。 まだ9歳だった頃。今、48歳。 こういうのやってると誕生日わからなくなるの。生まれ52年だったような？という記憶持ってたりするけど50年なの？ あの時長くお友達で居てくれた女の子のご家族と会ったね その方々は中でお食事だと 羨ましい 私の祖母の弟が品川プリンスホテル開いたからそこで披露させてもらいました。 私は羽依。日舞では お相撲部屋の奥さんが考えてくれたのは 依は亻ニンベンつけるか？考えてくれて たの。意味とか凄く好きな方。 一流と言うところでいさせてもらえたこと やっぱり違うよ。 何処の1番で 家庭に入ってもそこが1番であると思うけど 約束したことが何もなってなかったこと。 何故なんだろうと 今話してちゃんとこの技術受け応えてくれる人がいるのだろうか？と思うの。 私だけ困ってる？ 家族みんな…そんな気がする。
