Beautiful shots! Can't believe how well the two cameras cut together, I couldn't tell a difference. Nice to see the old A7III holding it's own. Yes, I'd love to see a breakdown. Just got the FX6 a few weeks ago and used it on two big projects, your previous videos that you shot with the FX6 sold me. I love it.

Amazing! I was also happy with the final product but MAN the a7iii took a lot more finessing to get it where I wanted it. So much happier with how quickly the FX6 grades haha.

Hi, Timmy! These are beautiful images. I've binge-watched almost all of your films and I'm impressed with the quality of your A7iii films. The A7iii films look like they were shot with much more firepower like Blackmagic cameras or even a RED and an Arri at some point. Would definitely apply your tutorials to mine. I use the A6300 and their video specs do not differ a lot. Hoping it would make my work better. Subbed!

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed them, Miguel. I still swear by that camera! If you learn how to expose, light, and grade the images well, you can really make it look like a high-end cinema camera.

This is really breathtaking!! Thumbs up from me. What mic did you use to capture all the sounds so sharply? and where do you find your background music?
@TimmyLodhi3 жыл бұрын
Don’t laugh but I actually used quite a bit of the internal camera microphone and then added some of my own sound design in post. 😂

Great work. Looks very stable. Would love to know if you found the FX6 hard to work with as it’s very light, and has no IBIS. Did you used Catalyst Browse a lot? Also, did u did yourself using the a7iii more?
@TimmyLodhi3 жыл бұрын
Great Questions! I didn't have issues with the footage being shaky as I was using the 24-105mm lens which has OSS. Helped a lot with keeping things stable. I've never tried Catalyst, although I see why it may be helpful down the road (when I use other lenses). I found myself using the a7iii more when I was trying to keep things light and minimal. We went on a 3-day backpacking trip and bringing the FX6 along wasn't an option. I'm actually considering the A7siii or waiting until the a7iv so I can have a lighweight travel camera.

Great footage, I love your grain structure! What are you using? I can never seem to get results I'm happy with davinci's built in grain

Thank you! I actually used the FilmConvert Nitrate plugin. I love how simple it is. I've also been testing out the Dehancer Film Plugin which is amazing!

Unfortunately KZbin compression really doesn't make film grain look that good in videos. The original file looks much cleaner than what appears online.
