The Evergreen state lives up to its name. I love how green everything is. When I visited in late July, the sweet pea was covered in pink/purple blooms, which contrasts beautifully with the green. Even though July and August are the peak of summer travel season, the park did not feel crowded.

Born and raised in Washington. You can add Hurricane Ridge, an along Hood Canal the Hama Hama, Dosewallips, or Duckabush Rivers. The Sol Duc Hot Springs is another great place.

I live on the backdoor of ONP, You can go skiing to kayaking in 30 minutes. Weather is mild, no tornadoes, hurricanes, lots of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting. I love it here and die here. I've been all over the US. I keep coming back "Home "!

I would also recommend colonel Bob (small mountain), hurricane ridge, heart lake, and generally things closer to the mountainous interior. That's pretty much the only major thing that you missed since there are some grander views than storm king of mount Olympus and the baileys.

I guess I should’ve known by your title using the most overused word in these travel Vlogs AMAZING that you weren’t actually gonna give an authentic review. You lost me at Hoh is worth visiting. The rainforest/cloud forest in Costa Rica are worth visiting hoe is just a bunch of moss.

Pro tip for making travel videos, viewers perfer to look at the scenery, not your face or the back of your companion, nobody cares about rock skipping talents. Disembodied voice is better than talking head. Most people don't think this is a movie starring you. They think this is a documentary on the subject of your video (Olympic national park). I liked your use of the map at minute 10:20-ish. Nobody cares about seeing your hand clap on the lens face. I did like that you described the hike distance and elevation gained and time elapsed. regards.

@@jch1276 I supposed taste is like a**holes, everybody has one, or is one (?) but having made over 120 videos of this type, I'd have to say, you're wrong from the perspective of what MOST people want. Apparently you like to watch a lot of TV, so these entertaining talking head shots is drilled into your brain cells. OK. I'm not changing my style. Oh, by the way, National Geographic, who makes the most of this kind of videos, and the best of these kinds of videos, disagrees with your opinion.

You managed to hit almost all of the cliche attractions of ONP but managed to miss the real essence of the park that can only be experienced by in depth exploration of area not featured in KZbin videos. Too bad. Come back and really get to know the park. You won't regret it.
