I really ended up loving the Schwaiger sisters during the 2012 games. They just seem like really nice girls and have a great chemistry together. Also nice to see Misty and Kerri get challenged for once...as much as I do like them, it's nice to see they're human once in a while :)

45:23 i don't think it was the net the problem.... I think it's because she scrapped the ball a big while trying to block, calling that a "shot"... Ah well, always great to see the greatest team in beach volleyball history play :)

Ok I probably sound REALLLLLY DUMB here- but hey, this is why I'm ASKING!!! When they're signaling with their fingers to their teammate behind them- what is it they're signaling? It looks like it's usually a number of some kind- are they trying to tell them who they think they should serve to, or like, a section of the court? And whatever they ARE signaling- how ARE they determining that anyways?? (Totally NOT a volleyball player by ANY means here- but I love watching!) Anyone? Thanks!!!

They show there teammate in which direction they plan to block there opponent so he knows which line he need to cover in the defense.

So there are different positions on the court and they are represented by numbers. So when they are holding up the numbers, they are telling where to serve because it’s either an empty space or a bad passer, etc.

Does Austria even HAVE an actual "Ocean Beach" in their country....? (Maybe my geography is failing me, but, I thought it was kind of a land locked country?) Not to say you can't play volleyball in the sand without the OCEAN... but it certainly isn't REALLLLLY "beach" volleyball without the OCEAN! But also, without that water from the ocean to reflect the sun off & GET all that sun damage- how ARE they looking that much older?! Ahhh I have too many questions lol
