Among the best Olympics in history, whatever some people say, basing their judgement on 20 minutes of ceremony over 4 hours and on 2 or 3 controversies (reprehensible, it's true) over 18 days. It's like judging a TV Show negatively for 3 bad episodes over 7 high-quality seasons, it's nonsense. Record number of tickets sold (9.5M, the last record was Atlanta 96 with 8.3M), record number of decibels, record number of audiences, iconic sites, entertainment never seen before in stadiums and arenas, almost perfect organization, security and transport, a marathon for everyone in the world, a grandiose ceremony on the Seine, athletics and swimming stadiums filled even in the morning, a spectacular cauldron.

Je suis Parisiens et vous ne pouvez pas savoir à quel point ça fait du bien d'entendre ça. En France depuis fin 2023 les gens ne parlent que des JO de Paris en mal et en faisant un nombre incalculable de polémiques qui n'ont pour la plupart pas de raison d'être (même si certaines sont justifié comme l'expulsion des sans abris). Franchement merci. Je trouve que ces jeux sont un succès, et merci de le rappeler.👍 Je veux aussi témoigner en tant que spectateurs car j'ai eu la chance d'assister à du tir à l'arc et à de l'athlétisme et franchement je ne sais pas si c'était comme ça aux précédents JO mais l'ambiance était juste incroyable c'était vraiment magique. Dans le métro, les haut parleurs annonçais quand les français gagner des médailles. Tout le monde était heureux. Et ce n'est pas finis, je suis aller voir du basket fauteuil (France - Allemagne) pour les Jeux Paralympiques et l'ambiance était tout autant incroyable. Pour ceux qui se demandent, il y'a veaucoups de place à un prix vraiment accessibles, (25€ par personne pour de l'athlétisme aux jeux olympiques par personnes par exemple) encore plus pour les jeux paralympiques (15€ par personnes pour la plupart des sports). Actuellement je vis un rêve ; Les jeux de Paris 2024. Merci d'avoir lu mon commentaire, je voulais témoigner de mon expérience de Parisiens. J'espère que ces jeux olympiques vous ont plus et que ces jeux paralympiques vous plaisent.❤

For me, a Brazilian, the most memorable moments for me in Paris 2024 was: The Bronze Medal of the girls of Gymnastics on the team all around. Specially Jade Barbosa who waited many years for this moment. Since the 2007 Pan-American Games here in Brazil🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 in Rio. Rebeca Andrade's gold medal on floor routine. She doesn't know she will be in LA 2028 for hold the title. Gabriel Medina's bronze medal on surfing. The silver medal on women's football. Marta deserves to retire with silver key. The gold medal with Ana Patrícia and Duda on beach volleyball. The bronze medal on women's indoor volleyball. And the medals on Judo and the bronze medal on taekwondo.

Thanks for sharing! A German here, who went to the Games in Paris. I saw Ana Patricia and Duda playing their 1/16-final in the Stadium and was hoping for a Gold Medal for them. Also saw Marta playing her last grand match in the Stadium. I celebrated and cheered so huge with all those great brasilian fans. We really gave our best in the stands and so the team did. They played much better than the US, but sadly in Soccer, sometimes the team who played better loses. But Marta was honoured like she should by us spectators. The energy of you Brszilians was inspiring to me.
