If it were true that swimmers got more gold medals than other athletes then they would dominate the top 10s but they don't... It's extremely rare for a swimmer like MP to dominate all these events as well. Just like how rare it would be for a sprinter to dominate the 100 200 400 and 800! MP can do that but for swimming, it's unheard of

Crazy thing is Cody was fast too, his split was very quick but Peaty was just an animal. Even in his early 30's Phelps was able to take people souls away in the last 15-20 meters of races.

Peaty jumped in 6th and came back first. More impressive. Phelps gained a second on a freestyle swimmer. He's the absolute GOAT, but Peaty and Adrian were MVPs of this race.
