I'm Brazilian and I have to say: Stanley was the name of the game! It was an even match with both teams giving it their all! This loss to Brazil was much less painful than 2012 in my opinion. The Russian comeback hurts to this day! 😅

There have been 6 Olympic finals (1984, 1992, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016) with 3 golds and 3 silvers. And 7 World Cups (1982, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022) with 3 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze. And in the World League, from 1999 to 2017, except for 3 years (2008, 2012 and 2015), Brazil was in the final: 8 golds, 6 silvers and 2 bronzes. Fun Fact: The vast majority of these titles won in the 2000s were under the command of this genius called Bernadinho. A volleyball legend.
