Nevin Harrison won the gold medal in the Canoe Sprint Women's Canoe Single 200m Final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She crossed the finish line in 45.932 seconds, ahead of the second-placed Canadian Laurence Vincent-Lapointe and Ukraine's Ljudmyla Lusan who took the bronze medal. Harrison's victory was the first Olympic gold medal in canoe sprint for an American woman.
