Full replay coverage from Eton Dorney as New Zealand's Lisa Carrington wins the gold medal in the women's 200m Canoe Sprint Kayak at the London 2012 Olympic Games with Ukraine's Inna Osypenko-Radomska and Hungary's Natasa Douchev-Janics complete the medal line-up.
In 1924 in Paris, flatwater canoeing featured at the Games as a demonstration sport. Canoe and kayak racing became full medal sports at the 1936 Berlin Games. However events were initially limited to canoe sprint until canoe slalom made its debut at the 1972 Munich Games. Slalom racing was not competed again in the Olympic Games until the 1992 Barcelona Games.

Yep you could see that the water was slightly rougher in the A final and the direction of the wind on the water heading up the course.

In order to stay upright in one of those skinny boats, you need great balance to go along with strong core, shoulders and arms kayak paddling is less about arms and more about core
