That hoop might be the best routine Kapranova did in her career. Much as I thought she was overrated and too heavily favored by the judges, you cannot fault her execution there. I thought deserved an even better score there, tbh. It’s too bad she let it go in clubs because she was looking hella confident after those first two routines.

Argento Piombo I admit her club routines have been performed better in other competitions, e.g European championship, but it deserved higher than 17.850 or even the revised score 17.900. At least above 18s.

I love how the Beijing crowd sat on their hands for most of the competition (only doling out polite applause for the most part) but got indignant after Bessonova's low clubs score and almost mutinied during the long wait for her ribbon score. Gotta love the shot of Viner trying to talk down Bessonova's score during the deliberation. And yes Godunko did flip off the judges at 1:17:16 in response to her scandalously low clubs score - no doubt orchestrated by Viner.

У Канаевой сложность программы выше, она молодец, но Бессонова великолепна. Особенно обруч и лента как отдельный вид искусства получился, я как будто на балете побывала и увидела целое представление, целостный образ .Белый лебедь))) Такая легкая, невесомая, у неё очень красивая, плавная хореография.

I have to admit, I feel bad that Bessonova didn't won the Gold that year. But Kanaeva was really a force to recon with. She proved that even in 2012. I love to see Cid's performance in a better video quality. My goodness, 4 olympics!! Zhukuva was also outstanding this year. too bad the Gold and Bronze medal positions were always emphasized. Even me, sometimes I forgot that there was the Silver position. Many crack up Kopranova in her 2008 Olympics performance. But she was not exactly bad, albeit the clubs routine. about kapranova i think people just felt justice was done after too much medals robbed in a shameful way ,it's difficult to empahtize with a gymansts that back then won so much gold medal never ever deseving one pratically ,and robbing off gymanst like bessonova ,zhukova or tchachina(2005),and seeing russian gymansts underscored thanks to her (kanaeva was already better back 2006,but boys ,she was quite ignored )

Una final épica de los últimos años de la verdadera gimnasia rítmica yo vi a una Evgenia Kanaeva segura de si misma porque sabía que iba a ganar como ahora lo hace Simone biles también a Inna zhukova sorprendida de haber obtenido la plata y la parte más importante para mí fue la participación de la gran Anna Bessonova siendo las mismas elegantes rutinas de calidad y fue de las pocas gimnastas más queridas por el público y viendo como aplaudían sus ejercicios sin duda alguna fue robada su expresión lo decía todo que coraje y frustración saber que hizo grandes esfuerzos y esperar haber los resultados de la ya maleada gimnasia por Rusia

Tanto Evgenia como Simone le llevan muchísima ventaja al resto de sus competidores en cuanto a dificultad, además de que mala ejecución tampoco tuvieron, fueron buenas, ellas sabían o saben(en el caso de Simone) como sacarle mejor provecho al código, por eso es que se se sienten seguras, aparte, es verdad, saben que tienen todo el apoyo de las jueces cuando cometen errores. Sin embargo hablando objetivamente Kanaeva fue la justa ganadora, la elegancia de Bessonova desafortunadamente no marca ninguna diferencia en cuanto a puntajes, la gente la aplaudía porque ella sabía como fluir y presentar su rutina, pero aún así en general no era suficiente para derrotar a Kanaeva. La gente no sabe en general del códigos, ni de dificultad, aplauden lo que les gusta más y para lograr eso no necesitas ser el mejor, pero sí ser limpio y vender bien tu rutina.

Евгения, конечно, была сильнее (это и без всяких судей), это видно. И, потом, никого среди выступающих здесь не было музыкальнее.. Многие чувствуют музыку, ритм, но только у Канаевой музыкально тело, она просто танцует музыку! Это удивительно.. Это, как в балете - таких, танцующих музыку (не просто - "в музыку"!), действительно, единицы..

Completamente de acuerdo, en este tipo de deportes de apreciación no importa si eres la favorita o no, importa el desempeño en la competencia no lo previo, kanaeva y zhukova fueron limpias y con elementos de mayor dificultad.

Смотрю это 16 лет спустя, ну и время летит. И сново переживаю за Капранову и Канаеву. Почитала комментарии, все придрались к Капрановой и к её ленте. Но мне её лента и сейчас нравится. И все восхищают Анной Бессоовой. И типа у неё украли 1 место. Я прям гениального ничего в ней не смотрела. Простые элементы. Хотя мне и Канаева не нравится, не моя любимая спортсменка, но у неё настолько сложная программа. Она богиня на ковре. Её упражнения дух захватывает. А если не потеря Ольги, то Анне и третьего места не видать.

Ana merecía la plata, la rutina de las mazas y de cinta estuvieron perfectas, el aro, estuvo bien y el lazo , tuvo un pequeño enredo, pero nunca perdió el implementó, para mi len la cinta debió ganar, ella la trabaja con los pies, hace lanzamientos exactos, en fin Rusia esta por encima traje o no...aunque ganó por meritocracia, dificultad. Todas merecen los mejor.....Anna es perfecta.. merecía la plata...

No tuvo rutinas "perfectas", tuvo atrapadas inapropiadas durante el aro, en la cinta tuve un error durante un balance, etc. Si merecía plata, pero tampoco fue su mejor competición

Too many mistakes of Anna's routines including rope, hoop, and clubs( no major mistakes of her ribbon but it was lacking body difficulty), I think she did better during the qualification.
