We bring you the women's 400m freestyle final from the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in full length. Australia's Ariarne Titmus took gold in a time of 3:56.69. World Record holder Katie Ledecky came in second in 3:57.36 to claim silver, while China's Li Bingjie clinched bronze in 4:01.08.

You could see in the 7th lap Ledecky had burnt herself out trying to break Titmus....she went backwards...great tactics by Titmus.

Beautiful and fantastic olympic race, although Ledecky ended up losing, but Titmus is also a pools heroine!

Not so fast. Not so fast. We'll make a deal. Katie Ledecky will learn about how well she gets the Gold and Ariarne Litmus will get the same Gold, too. It will be a tie unanimously. They'll have it just like Nancy Hogshead and Carrie Steinseifer in 1984 Los Angeles Olympics for Women's 100m Freestyle. It's a deal. Learn it from the Coaches.

Both girls are champs in and out of the pool. Kate is the antithesis of most U.S swimmers. She's the opposite pole to (for example) Gary Hall Jnr or Lily King.

I used to study some our Australian Olympians and I would notice that one of them. I can’t remember who it is. They would do three strokes so that they could check where they’re competitors were on the side if they needed to. It was genius and it never threw off the game, these girls i admire so much

US uses: short attack strok. High energy concentrate. Lower kick ratt(leave some - for latter).

Ledecky doesn't have any movement going to podium, even after announcer called as "silver medallist Ledecky" 😀😀😀😀 she just in a dream as she only need to climb up to podium only when calling ad Gold medallist 😀😀😀😀

The Ledecky cold shoulder at the end. Stunning lack of sportsmanship. But that's what Americans do when they lose. I've even seen it in wheelchair tennis. It's not in their DNA to accept defeat.

Katie started out so strong that on the last laps she would've have been already used most of her energy but arnie went steady and then rushed in the last 200m

In the last lap you can see Ledecky's swimming form fall apart, as Titmus remained smooth and fast.
