Mount Olympus is 100km southwest of Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city. It is Greece’s highest mountain and is situated between the prefectures of Thessaly and Macedonia. Its highest peak, Mytikas, meaning "nose", rises to 2,917 metres (9,570 ft) and it's among Europe's highest peaks.
The highest point you can reach by car, is the location of Prionia, at 1,100 metres (3608 ft) elevation, which is where the video starts and then we're driving down the mountain to the village of Litochoro, which is located at the low hills of the mountain.
