Wow, what a lovely camera and the images are fantastic! It's very similar to the Olympus Trip 35, same two choices of shutter speeds, zone focussing, selenium light metre. I love my Trip 35s :). Beautiful.

Hey thanks for this video, I just picked up the same camera. Fingers crossed it works, came from a guy who had the lens cap on and in a bag for 10 years so hopefully the light meter works. Appreciate the review mate

Very happy to see that you auto-exposure system is working well. I bought an EES-2 for a small amount over ebay, and it proved to be in mint condition, except that it suffers from the curse afflicting the EES line of cameras: the aperture setting mechanism has jammed and needs to be cleaned to work properly. Luckily, this is such a common problem that there is an excellent YT video showing how to open the lens/shutter to clean the auto-metering mechanism. I'm saving it for a rainy winter day. This is the last model using a selenium meter cell which does not require a battery. The next model, EES-3 is the same except that it uses a Cds battery powered meter (discontinued mercury battery). It also is a bit rare and gets a premium price.

Yes, I believe there is a filter/cap thread on the lens housing. I'm unsure of the size, and unfortunately mine is packed away because I'm moving to a new house next week. Once I take it out I'll have a look and see if I can figure out the filter size. Cheers!
