Thanks to this video! The whole video was great, but @ 7:04 helped me. This shot allowed me to find out that my 200 dollar "assorted" ball python was in fact a banana pinstripe beautiful girl (I say assorted sarcastically, as this shop kept 5 morphs in a tank not labeled with each gender and morph name). This is my second ball python. Got a male Coral Glow at a much better shop first. I always knew she was pinstripe when I picked her but now I know she's a banana as well thanks to seeing her exact twin on this part of the video (they seriously look identical). I picked her when I handled all of them in turn and she was the calmest and most friendly one. Not all were like that. One of the two albinos (because it's very likely "assorted" will contain albino lol) actually struck the worker who was getting them out for me to handle. I was shocked they kept five in no more than a 40 gallon tank maybe with not enough hides for all. Not shocked the albino that struck did show defensive aggression. Probably was on edge and not feeling secure or having a place to hide and be alone. Glad I got her out of that situation and into her new home and now solved the mystery of the morph.

Nathan Deyle no, it had to do with recent facebook attacks to a certain individual. We all ran to support him, myself included. I also saw kusko talk community, and those two together got me thinking about all the crap I had seen on Facebook. However I had never spoken about it. It was just time I did. I have seen 100s of people get trashed there, for no good reason at all.

Great room tour! I really like the look of Caliders with their high white sides but was wondering if Hidden Gene Woma would do the same thing as Spider does with Calico? I like Champagnes too, especially when they have that intense orange bred into them with Orange Dream or Enchi, and love when they have the ringers. It sort of reminds me of Pied but in my opinion prettier. I don't know why, but Champagnes seem to almost always have a long lean muscular look to them and rarely look lumpy unlike some other morphs. Maybe the guy who was wrong about your snake being a Super Pastel Spotnose would give you a reduced rate on your next snake to make up the difference. The Blitz pattern kind of reminds me of the Hurricane. Papaya Pythons has some of those. If you like that pattern you might want to check out her channel. The ones I've seen almost have exclusively the double inward spiral you're looking for.

IAMGiftbearer it could be the same, just a different line. I will keep working blitz since I already have it though. As far as the super pastel, not even worried about it. We picked it up from someone reducing because medical issues. They just couldn't care for the collection they had. They got it at a show from god knows who. Really is no big deal, and I don't think the original breeder did it on purpose, so I am not worried about it.

XKILLER007X shirts are only on patreon or shows. The BEL was a keeper, but hope to make more. Should breed to banana black pastel with out issue. No, adult females won't be able to soak in the built in dish. However, they hold humidity very well, so hasn't been an issue

I would say with two separate heat panels, controlled separately is the best. If they are the exact same size. exact same brand. exact same everything, located side by side, etc might get away with one.

How can i get more confident in grabbing my snake like that. if you got bit you know it doesnt hurt... youre picking it up with your glove then moving it to your flesh hand... try getting bit on the eyelid by a ret. python. Youre ball python will be just fine theyre defensive and ball up instead of striking... hence their name.. they will strike but in 7yrs Ive been nipped twice by ball pythons.

I'm new to pythons, and I've seen almost every video you have. I'm familiar with genetics in general but not snake genetics. Is there a way you could explain the bee stuff? I see killer bee, zebra bee, etc and I'm confused as to what makes what. Zeus is the coolest one, although I have a soft spot for the black banana too.

Gabby OToole it works the same as any other genetics, snake breeders just came up with cutsey names as a way of marketing. So a bumblebee is actually got two morphs. Pastel, spider. Zebra bee three. Pastel spider axanthic. Killer always refers to super (homozygous) pastel. So killer bee is super pastel spider

they are quite possibly the most beautiful of them all. I'm wondering just how many genes you can cram in there. Like take your killer bee and cross it with enchi or vanilla. I can see it gets complicated. I'm only too bummed you can't really do champagne with it. I love champagne. I would love a video where you explain what you can't breed together and why. other than compatibility, no. selective breeding is the key to nice examples, regardless of line.
