Om still is and will always be one of my favorite bands of all time. I'm talking like deserted island kind of favorite, like if I could only bring one bands discography it would definitely be theirs. I still to this day walk around reciting the lyrics from At Giza and Flight of the Eagle as if they were sacred prayers. And they might as well be. One of the only albums that can put me in a meditative/psychedelic state without any sort of real effort

Been a fan of Sleep since high school and never got into Om until November and I cannot believe I didn't listen to them sooner. I been listening to them non stop and also got all their discog save for Pilgrimage on vinyl (Southern Lord won't rerelease the LP :()

@Skorbutt Completely agree. Its kind of analogous to Sleep vs. Om - Sleep was very pro-pot and vocally so, whereas Om's lyrics are much less obvious and more mature. Also they're just such an amazing rhythm section, so perfectly in sync all the time. Being high isnt necessary to hear that (but theres nobody stopping you ; ) ).
