Diesel purge is good stuff. . i love atf. make sure you have a inj pressute tested if you try to rebuild. must have the correct pop pressure

Ain't any bottle of anything gonna fix that. After you find and fix that tapping. While its running, pour straight trans fluid into the intake about 1/2 cup at a time and stand back. Revs real high but will clean out a motor quick fast and in a hurry. Fix the tapping first.

Not injectors, this engine has been rebuilt, installed, and running and driving for like 4 months now lol.

That's just what these motors sound like mine sounds close to the same probably not as knocking like yours I do use a thick oil and have been changing the fuel filters often because there's alot of contamination in the system

There's no real reason for it to knock, I have it in the stand with the oil pan off. Idk what was wrong with it, but I bet it doesn't do it when it goes back together with fresh injectors and no vacuum pump

i have a 85 turbo 123 and it runs weird it will run fin and run great the out of the blue sounds like its down a cylinder and wants to die anyone have any idea what it could be

The Driveway Engineer I cleaned the tank strainers and did all the filters it runs great like no issue then just randomly runs terribly and it doesn’t smoke when it hapens

This has long been taken apart and fixed. Piston was slapping around in the bore
