I'm sorry I don't mean any offence but people need to stop comparing them to Red Velvet, Oh My Girl has been known for this concept since their debut, whether in the title track or their b-sides their songs have always been dreamy classical and elegant. as far as I know, Red Velvet concept is Red(Summery/fresh) Velvet (dark/horror) but they came back in 2022 with this classical song and now suddenly all the groups are copying Red Velvet?there is a clearly misconception among K-pop fans that when Big3 companies take inspiration from other companies' groups' concepts their fans think that all groups are copying their faves. I don’t wanna any fight but Oh My Girl decidedto comeback with their dreamy classical concept after years since it’s their 10th anniversary and that’s it!

Thank you for pointing this out. I also feel that coming from small company makes it hard for Oh My Girl to be recognized. I’ve seen comments when RV released Fmr, many people say that they are the blueprint for doing Ballerina concept, but little did they know that Oh My Girl had Ssfwl with Ballerina concept some years earlier. Now with Classified, ppl keep comparing to RV as if Omg has never done this kind of concept in their whole career. I understand that every reaction from the reactor is real, so I hope in the future Oh My Girl will be more known for their signature concept.

I dont think this was watched by many people other than the fams like me who were chomping at the bits for snother comeback from Oh My Girl but they have a story film video that shows the members as the plushies and a young girl visiting them. It made me really happy that you got that context without the story film. Ive been an Oh My Girl fan from the begining and it made me happy that you took extra time to try and look deeper into their song/mv instead og just doing a basic reaction and calling it a day lol

As someone who is familiar with Oh My Girl's typical sound, I don't necessarily agree with the Red Velvet comparisons. Oh My Girl has done the faerie concept from the beginning and it's essentially their signature sound. So many of their songs sound like this. Beyond that, I think you're right on the money with the concepts of the song and video. The perspectives makes me think of the 'Liar Liar' MV, and the other scenes in the MV makes me think of a lot of their older songs, such as 'Closer', 'Windy Day', and 'Secret Garden'.

I never thought about this song from that perspective, but I think it is quite true indeed. But, no. They're not biting into Red Velvet. This concept has been their schtick since they were 8. But it's understandable if people think that since Red Velvet is more popular. Be sure to check out their stage performances. Their formations are immaculate and beautiful. It's a kin to Dreamcatcher and Gfriend with their own unique vibe.

It's not just you, this is absolutely the RedVelvetification of Oh My Girl. This song stands right up there with Feel My Rhythm and Psycho. Well, which one you prefer is up to you. But the stylistic similarities are there and I've seen many other people talk about this too. I hope you have the time to also watch their Killing Voice that just came out today. It's probably one of my favourites :)

This is much lighter and different from FMRhythm. Imo, Feel my rhythm sounds happier and quicker. Classified sounds lighter and more like a fairytale concept.
