Nizwa is one of the oldest cities in Oman, and was once a center of trade, religion, education and art. Nizwa was the capital of Oman in the 6th and 7th centuries AD.

Surprising it didn't have signs everywhere. Nice to see it wasn't crowded. Funny, a separate coffee room. Not much wall decor. I like the stone in the courtyard. Date palms and Papaya trees. Nice tour👍👍16

We enjoyed coming along with you to the market, Michael. Despite the soup! Also enjoyed the visit to Nizwa. We enjoyed the views from the top of the fort and the castle tour. Lovely gardens and beautiful mosque and minaret! Interesting mud buildings and city layout with the narrow lanes. Would be a fun and interesting place to visit. Thanks for bringing us along.
