this chaos to calm challenge has been so eye opening. I always hear “morning routines” & I just think, what habits can I stack together to be the most productive. but thinking about how I want to feel instead of what I should do is something I’m now going to move to. Thank you Jules Acree

Started following an evening routine an hour before bed. Cleaning up the kitchen (I love walking into a clean kitchen in the morning, it's the best), skincare, reading, journaling, praying. No phones or screens. I sleep so much better and wake up refreshed! Also, I did the worksheet yesterday and was really empowered by it. Thanks for your resources, I'm looking forward to more videos!

What a good reminder to take a critical look at your routines and remember the why. I’m really struggling to determine what I need exactly but I know that calm and content are the end results I’m looking to find. Checking my phone all too often is a big issue. It’s not how I want to spend time that is precious. Time to develop some rituals and strategies that will serve me!

Because of you I (SMM business owner) took January off of social to create new systems, routines and detoxed from things that needed to be stopped. I just want to say thank you so much. I don’t know where or when I found you but I have loved it here since September. This was the best ending to this January adventure. Can’t wait to read the newsletter Sunday. Have a great Saturday. Loved this video soooooo much.

I work at 6am and don't have time to wake up any sooner to have a morning routine. It's been hard keeping up with a routine after work as well because I'm already physically and emotionally drained. This video has helped me realize I should listen to my body more and have rest days and not be so hard on myself for not completing what has started to feel like tasks rather than something to bring me joy and peace. I'm going to find my non negotiables and maybe one day I can habit stack when I start feeling more energized. Ty Jules

i thought it was really interesting to focus on what *isn't* working and what we *don't* want. a lot of times, I focus on 'what is SHOULD do' and 'positive habits that I want to inhabit.' to start from the opposite is a cool approach to fine-tune what I need to focus on. loving this challenge and how it encourages us to achieve the same concepts/ goals but in different ways

I used to be a big morning workout person, but something wasn't clicking for me lately. By the time I would workout, shower, and eat breakfast...it was very much the afternoon lol. I decided to switch to evening workouts and I actually don't hate it! Gives me time to wind down with my routine rather than feel rushed to finish it. Ultimately, if I decide to switch back, that's ok too :)

I'm an end generation baby boomer and workaholic, from home, putting in 10-12 per day. I can't WAIT to set up my phone to support the flow of my days! I'm someone who needs the routine to fit weekends AND weekdays, otherwise I find it hard to stick to. There isn't really a clear delineation for weekends in my life because work is flexible and if I'm feeling off on a Thursday I'll just take that day instead and push my workday to Saturday! Thanks for the lovely challenge content ^.^

Love the idea of focusing on how you feel!! I’ve tried morning routines because I felt like I SHOULD do certain things (wake up super early, exercise, etc), but they didn’t necessarily always make me FEEL good, so I’d lose motivation and stop. Lately I’ve been really enjoying just moving slowly in the morning, getting in a quick meditation and having some time for introspection before I start my day - it feels better than having to ‘achieve’ something first thing. Thanks for the video :)

This video gets me SO excited to reset my morning routine after me and my partner move into a house in February. We are currently cramped into an apartment and do not have the indoor or outdoor space to work out, but our new place has tons of space for that. I truly can't wait to get my body moving again, it is so integral to having a healthy, dynamic routine for me!! I am wondering if you'd ever do a video/short video on your Tonal, and how you like it or what you don't like about it? We might buy one and you're one of the only people I know who has one! Would love to hear more about it sometime whether it's a short reel on IG or something longer on here. Thank you for these last four weeks of phenomenal content!!
