My former teacher is the pianist for Karpe. My class got to go to the soundcheck for one of these shows in spektrum. We met Karpe, the rest of the band and the dancers (quickstyle). We even got to walk on the stage. Which was full of sand so it was difficult to not slip and fall. I don’t get how they were able to dance up there. They also said it was difficult to protect the technical equipment from being damaged by the sand.

They are big in Norway for sure. They sold out this concert ten times in Oslo Spektrum. Over 100.000 sold tickets. They are probably the biggest rap duo in Norway. In these later years they have gotten more in touch with the cultures their families are from.

@@thomaswatvedt5812you obviously don’t understand the concept or choose to misunderstand. Half of the duo is Hindi- not Muslim. With their art they build bridges and understanding between all the different cultures and religions in Norway. Which they’ve done brilliantly for 20 years.
