Every brand of vehicles has gotten more expensive nowadays, but I would prefer a $50k Honda vs. a $50 k lowest end BMW or MB, they drive like crap, no power and starts having problems at 40,000 miles or less. Whoever is bad mouthing about a Honda probably has never owned one, I just got my 3rd 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport, and its drives and performs phenomenal.

It is by far the most capable in the segment. An extremely good tvd rear diff, under body skid plates, and the best ground clearance in the segment. Definitely better than it’s competitors off road

​@@dazednconfusedrn not the same 4runner is 4wd and on body which is more like a truck this pilot is a unibody and Awd which makes it more like a car. Thats why its better all around the 4runner is way more off road oriented but pilot will feel better overall for regular daily driving

Since 2018, all vehicles have to have a backup camera, to be sold. The backup camera on Pilots, Passports, and Ridgelines may fail at any moment. There is a recall for 2019 -2023 Pilots, Passports, and Ridgelines (minus the ones with the rinky dink 5" infotainment display). If the vehicle has an active safety recall, which has not been completed, the vehicle can not be sold.

The recall is for up to 2022 pilots, these new models aren’t under the recall. 2023 is only for passports and ridgelines.

@@davewilson7602 That's not what the NBC National News reported last Friday. 2019 - 2023 backup cameras not showing up on the display, in violation of the 2018 vehicle mandate requiring backup camera. Passport, Pilot, Ridgeline. I said, why not the Odyssey?
