Here is one of them - Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "None of you should say: 'O Allah, forgive me if You wish; O Allah, be merciful to me if You wish,' but he should always appeal to Allah with determination, for nobody can force Allah to do something against His Will." Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 6339 Additionally, listen to what some of the salaf scholars say regarding this for a more detailed explanation as I don't have much knowledge. May Allah guide us.

Man you're a legend! I moved to work abroad after I graduated, it was the first time I would be living away from home. I had some tough times during work and was often very busy, working long hours and on my own, but I would listen your beautiful recitations and it would always make me feel much better, more at peace and make my work much more fun. This was two years ago! Now Alhumdulillah I'm married and my wife and I listen to your recitations together!
