He didn’t follow through with the thought but, I think, he was trying to say that like how some really good fighters don’t get title shots or the tv/pay per view spots cuz they aren’t marketable or are being mismanaged. The music industry is same in the sense that one can be a great musician and put out awesome impactful songs that no1 gets to hear cuz the budget isn’t there to market it or the “formular” for creating a #1 record wasn’t followed

Listen to "Growing Pains" and you will kinda have an understanding of what happened. He basically felt like a bunch of shit had happened and he was put in a situation where he felt uncertain about what the fuck was going on. Even after they broke up Omari tried to get back with the boys but they were steady trying to tell him that he was trying to cut them off and go solo (probably management tried to brainwash them). On the other side he himself got brainwashed by Chris Stokes and their team by saying that the others were trying to cut HIM off because he was trying to go solo and have the spotlight. Basically Raz, Boog and Fizz had a conversation about how the money wasn't getting to them at all. Come to find out they were indeed not getting paid what they were supposed to (Raz's family found out with the help of an accountant). The next morning Chris Stokes cut them off before they could even get to Omari, he was not allowed to speak to them at all. Just some greedy bastards in the media industry trying to manipulate young talented artists, what's new?
