All the visuals were taken from the official MV of Qairan Elim which he directed himself. It's the most beautiful, symbolic and spiritual MV I have ever seen. The Kobyz was featured in a solo in the MV too. This was written by Renat Gaissin mid pandemic as a prayer for Kazakhstan and the whole world.

It's hard to choose favorite songs because all of them are different and has different sound. If you haven't yet, please react to "Samaltau" from Tokyo jazz festival 2020 or from the Digital Show

Hello, I love it when others can appreciate the language, the typical instruments, of a country, that they did not know before. The land of Dimash, which is what this song is about, although it is also a prayer for the world. You must see the mv, which is wonderful. When Dimash sings in his language, there is a higher passion in him, it shows how much he loves his Country.

Thank You! Kobyz sounds so good here (and in Stranger)! As for suggestions for reactions - would like reaction to vocalize "Know" (Arnau tour, Ukraine); Qarağım-ay (Dimash Digital Show 2021); Autumn Strong (lives concert Arnau tour, Ukraine). As for stage - it's by Anna Oboianska (from Ukraine).

👉 This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak. The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and, according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the prototype of all European string instruments. (Turkic means: The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups from Central, East, North and West Asia as well as parts of Europe and North Africa who speak Turkic languages.) A legend about Kobyz says that this instrument was created by the great steppe narrator Korkyt-Ata, who lived in the 10th century and that the tool is charged with magical and even mystical properties and sounds like animal voices. In addition, the Kazakh people believed that the spirits of their ancestors spoke to them through this music. The old outlook and piety towards their instruments and music was constantly preserved in traditional Kazakh society and ensured the highest spiritual level of musical art and a special respectful attitude towards musical instruments. Simple people, for example, did not dare to touch the shaman's Kobyz. It is said: The balance between the courses of life and death on earth can be maintained by playing the Kobyz. 🌼🇩🇪

This was composed when during the middle of the pandemic 2 of his mentors and friends died and the helpless feeling the piano composer started to play the melody and Dimash wanted to sing the words and it was a prayer for the world but he really wanted to showcase how dark and hopeless it was that there is a light at the end. The MV came out last summer and Dimash actually helped directed it. There is a scene in the movie video with him on fire and it shocked the dears so bad. It’s a beautiful song. Thank you for promoting Dimash. I have so many favorites. I love. Hello. Know. Love is like a dream

No way there is a favorite from Dimash. Every one is a favorite on its own way. Eastern music is similar to Arabic indeed. Both are beautiful. If you also hear him speak, you will recognize many Arabic words like وقت، عظيم، and many more I forget. Influence of Islam and Muslim conquest I presume. Thank you Omario from Syria💜

Over 82% of Kazakhstan is Muslim. Dimash and his family are in that group. Knowing this makes the similarity of some of the words understandable. Concerning this song, until 1991, Russia had full control of Kazakhstan and was known to use the Kazak men to fight their wars for them. This caused many deaths of Kazak men and much pain for the people. In 1991 Russia gave 16 lands their freedom and they became republics. Though Dimash was not born until 1994 he was made fully aware to the wars and hardships his people went through, and this song is remembering those difficulties. Dimash directed the official video which was the first time we were introduced this song. Below is the youtube sight to the official video if you wish to listen, watch and compare. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWWYopeIdq6Kl68
