I am Kazakh and I want to try to explain the meaning of this MV. I shared my opinions with some Kazakh people, they agree with me. Kobyz is a soul, heart of Kazakh. and it bleeds like our hearts today.These days are very sad because of the pandemic of coronavirus. We have lost and are losing many people. Among these died people are Dimash's teachers, great composer,mentors. Our news are full of condolenses ( you can read about it in DimashNews). Burning Dimash means that his heart is burning with pain for people, for his native land. And the pianist died as a victim of this disease and died playing his music. The movie's name I would translate a little bit in another way because Qairan means long-suffering, Elim means my land, my country, my folk, my people. The clip begins with the sad historical pages of the Kazakhs and ends with the words : Live my Motheland, my long-suffering land, live my people ( Our history is very tragic, only during the soviet power in the 1933-1937 y we, Kazakhs, lost more than 3 million people ( half of the population) due artificially created famine. We have 9th largest country in the world but population is very small- about 19mln. Dimash is singing about our today,s sadness and tragedy.And Dimash also explained that the song and clip are with pandemic in out land connected.

The pianist is special alright, he is the composer of the song. The video was filmed in Almaty in Kazakhstan and is not green screened. The song is sung in Kazakh. The ancient Kazakh instrument is a Kobyz. Dimash loves height and fire so you can guess he had a lot of input in the making of this video, which he co directed. Dimash directed this video along with another. Scenes are taken near Almaty, Kazachstan. Dimash shot a lot of the scenery himself. His descendants from way back in history was Genghis Con, warrior and fought many bloody wars in that time and it is symbolism of blood and war we saw at the beginning of video and those lost to war. Dimash is about peace and love in the whole world deep in his soul he expresses that in this video. Its a prayer for the fate of the world. Shows earth, water, wind and fire as symbols of hope for the WORLD in the chaos of today. .The past is mixed with the present. Melechesh - Multiple truths next pls ! Its a rare hidden gem that sets a high standard for the very band that created it. It's a very tasty and fascinating mix between beautifull melodic lines and mystic a thmosphere and sick heavy riffage. The thematic and lyrics are at least as fascinating and they quite well balance the message with the instrumentation. There are definitely black and death metal influences but that's doesn't really tells you a lot about their sound. Can't wait to see you reaction !
