@@wearzymaan1541 Some boats didn't come with the filter. Best to put one in. OMC/Turbojet made one back in the day

Great video ! Im having trouble with my Fling overheating. The water flow chart was very helpful and also the fittings that are prone to plugging up. I will remove and clean them all then flush engine. Thank you !

I significantly upgraded the cooling system in my Whaler 115OMC and now how a peepee sprayer and larger exhaust resonance time. Buzzer goes off at 210 and resets at 170. Run a 50 mesh screen to protect from debris.

Also Try enlarging the water pick up port on the jet pump, it greatly increases water flow.

GREAT video explanation of the water flow and a nice introduction to the Turbojet motor in general, thanks! ! Besides the water flow, is there anything with the motor and oil injection system to look for...or anything else you would recommend a buyer to do/check on a turbojet that's new to them? I've had lots of experience with big boats and 4 cycle but dipping into the "2 cycle jet boat" pool and buying a 1994 Seaswirl Squirt to use as a tender boat. I've been reading lots of negative stuff about those mid-late 90's Mercury SportJet and OMC Turbojet motors, but it sounds like maybe uneducated users don't know to proactively keep this water flow system properly cleaned out that causes most issues? Hey there! I have a 94 Whaler Rage with a 90HP OMC jet drive. My problem is that the boat is idling fine, but once I put it under a load (3k+ RPM) it will sound off the overheating alarm within one minute. Any tips? :)

It probably has sand built up inside the exhaust. There's no easy way to clear it up, you basically have to take the large water box muffler off and flush it out that usually helps.

I have a zodiac hurricane 427 with no engine is there a replacment engine for the 115 turbojet im in the uk and can not find this engine anywhere

Excellent video! I'm reconditioning a Fling now. Don't have the title yet, so not sure what year it is or if its a 90 or 115. Any way to determine? I suspect this boat will end up in your shop soon. From Lansing area

The last two digits on the HIN tag on the back of the boat will give you the year. I've never seen a 90hp in any year Fling, its gotta be the 115T.
