I remember paying under £5 to see OMD at Sheffield City Hall in the 80s, because I like them so much and have seen their performances which are fabulous, I have paid £50 at Leeds.

Thanks so much for this! Been a fan for 40 years but never seen them live. We had tickets for one of the gigs, and were absolutely gutted to miss it due to illness, so I am going through KZbin tonight to cheer myself up. Even the set list is here! Great video. :)

I was there ...having a good time with my bestie friend. Great compilation ... well done! We`ve seen OMD in the 80s, 2000s, the music never dates and the music is still relevant. What was Andy McCluskey holding? I know Paul held a sock and said would be better with the other one!

@@IanRSmith Quite appropriate, I thought it was either that or a bra! They have such good humour, and I could tell Andy was having a fab time with the audience. Wait till he goes to Sheffield, as they always give a good reception, wonder if he will talk about Sheffield football teams on that night???

Was at their Southend gig and their performance was flawless. Unfortunately, Andy didn't receive any undergarments thrown on stage. Besides, most if not all Essex birds, don't wear any panties ! 😂

We chose to dance so we went to the standing area. Noticed that the people who had seats were not allowed to come to the standing area. At Sheffield, there is no restriction.

@@mop714 In this day of age i can only assume its to do with health & safety. A lady near us got up dancing and was asked to sit down by the person behind, which i suppose is a downside to the seated areas, we were lucky, behind us were a few empty seats at the back so we hijacked those for the whole of the concert 😁👍

@@retrogamesrevived1189 Funnily enough, I wanted to be seated, and it was my friend who said, let`s go standing room as we could move about. I am glad we did. At Sheffield it is an oval shaped room, and the seats are static, so one can get up and dance in the aisles or go to the front of the auditorium or at the back. It has a slight angle to the sloping floor. Sheffield City Hall is a fabulous historic building and has great acoustics.

@@mop714 i think i know what you mean. We saw ELO at Sheffield Arena and we stood and danced in the seated area no problem with noone behind complaining....saying that....the whole arena were on their feet so made no difference 😁👍
