It always baffles me how easy you can make the game with a bit of barricade planning even though the map can look huge and impossible at first.

This works okay, but there may have been an update or something. The large enemies now go directly for the barricades surrounding the rift.

Can you help me, I really need it, I've tried this map atleast 4 times now today and I am still not making it. It seems they made Ogres and Trolls more agressive/intelligent in this version of the game. They will just start attacking the barricades in the north east of the building and directly next to the rift. As soon as one gets destroyed the whole army just floods into the main room. It's starting to get frustrating at this point.

God, just lost this map on my first try. Of course I lost during final wave when boss spawned extra rift behind my kill room (placed west from rift room) and GG :( PS: Great idea with locking whole rift room!

It's good. Lots of fire immune enemies on that one!

All purple demons are immune to fire! But arcane damages them.

Honestly stadia version might be easier idk because I can't leave barricades anywhere without them getting absolutely destroyed everytime. I was sitting in that kill box doing the thing and all of a sudden I saw the number drop to 23 I ran over to the 3 barricades spot they were destroyed so I repaired next wave where they come from straight ahead from the kill box and I'm not kidding I watched the orcs and trolls just turn and go right down the stairs to destroy the barricades right on the rift lol, I can't figure out why if I do the exact same thing you do it really fails, barricades are great but I'm starting to wonder if they patched the game so that enemies target them regardless.

Na still works like a charm, even on Steam / PS4. You have something funky going. Nothing on that map that will aggro to barricades until the fire elementals get popped. As long as you have nothing doing damage up front the build works flawlessly.

@@MrJuicebags I have the exact same thing happening to me as well. Not a one off issue also, have noticed this on other maps as well. Ogres are way more aggressive at the moment.

this strategy is a waste of time. At wave 3 the big enemies just make a B line for your rift and destroy the barricades.

but...it's not. Just did it yesterday or the day before again in a Rift Lord video. If you place the barricades 100% exactly as I do, then don't go near them. Nothing will aggro to the barricades the entire run.

@@MrJuicebags No it doesn't work. Must be some kind of update because at wave 3 they just take straight route to center and destroy barricades

@@lauri_vanhala he has another video on this map different setup. I used it today and nothing ever went from the barricades protecting the rift only ones in kill box. Built it exactly as he said and it was perfect. However if you still have problems placing dummy barricades throughout the map might help
