What you watched I believe was just a talent contest when he was just starting to bring us his soulful gift. That wasn’t Simon but was a judge. Sometimes you will see Dimash do a great performance and you see an audience that is somewhat quiet, it’s because that is the normal to not scream and stand even for the greatest singer ever, it’s all about respect for yourself and others. It’s not the same in good old USA. We scream and shout and revel in the emotions that a wonderful singer can do to us. Dimash is in America now, now he will hear them scream for him, but will he like it?

That’s his native Costume from Kazakhstan (between Russia and China) where he is from. That was from the American tv show The Worlds Best. That he eventually bowed out of (and Ru Paul, one of the judges, gave him hell for it) because his competitors were children, 12 and 13 at the time. He most definitely wouldve won because he was on top. Anyway the show chopped up his performances when they edited it for tv, so most followers of Dimash weren’t crazy about it.

Oh this one was cut up for time on this show. When Dimash signed onto this show he asked if he would be competing against children because he wouldn't do that. They told him he would not be competing against children. They lied. In the last challenge, there was Dimash and two children. One was from his own country. Therefore, he bowed out of the challenge after his last number in which he blew the roof off the building. Right after that, he had the announcement made that he was out. Especially RuPaul was really pissed. But Dimash just kept contained and quietly held his ground. Considering the million dollar prize, he was giving up, that was really cool on his part. He'a a class act. But really how fair is it to put Dimash against 2 children?. Welcome to America and its degeneration into being a third world country. Glad you like Dimash! You might like Dimash doing Queen's 'The Show Must Go On', which he did on the Singer 2017 Contest in China. Check out 'SOS' from that same show. There are so many!

You should start with SOS - either from Chinese "I am Singer" (classic version- the performance that made Dimash popular overnight with 5 million fans in China alone) or from "Slavic Bazar" (this one is available on his official YT channel and is less likely to get a copyright strike)- DO NOT use the "World's Best" again - they have completely butchered all performances by cutting and editing them to only short clips.

He sings in multiple languages and that one is in Russian but click English Subtitles. Dimash is a 25 (soon turning 26) y.o. singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, concert performer who has a 6-octave range from Kazakhstan...you should check out his official youtube channel for more of his awe-mazing videos...he is by far the BEST singer among his contemporaries at the moment...he started taking voice lessons when he was 5 y.o., graduated college last June 2019 while performing all over the globe & is currently taking his masterals... btw, congratulations!..you've just been Dimashified!..

He is singing on the languages Kazakh (his native one), Russian (his second one, he is bilingual), English, Mandarin, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian). I think, it would be for you interesting: for example in his song Screaming on "Idol Hits" in English he added a rap part in Kazakh language, his mother tongue. Together with a Rapper Ma he sang Earth song of MJ. Together with a kasakh rap group he sang in kasakh language a song about his homeland. Some weeks ago he told, that he plans to make a new song together with a well known rapper. But he didn't say the name of this rapper...
