The other songs listed I thought were G7’s. The only D8 he’s hit was Unforgettable Day Gakku (as far as we know). Supposedly he was going for a G7 here when his voice failed him, and the famous D8 popped out. He didn’t even know what he had done, he just walked off singing.

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! He must have instantly thought, "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'll improvise!" So he emitted the inconceivable, supernatural D8 (4698.64 Hz)! Of course, this is a joke to me, but it makes one wonder: What is Dimash's limit?

Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Incidentally, Dimash himself said that this was not actually intended. He probably wanted to sing his "normal" G#7, but when he did, no sound came out of his throat. There is a song that Eric Serra wrote for an extraterrestrial opera singer that was not singable by a human voice. Parts of it were computer generated. Guess who is singing it. There a some female singer who performed this song, but in my opinion not as precise as Dimash. And he is a male! Please react to the Diva Dance from his Bastau concert. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together.
