Both unique. Since I already own a ceramic 300, I’m drawn to the Nekton.

I have the standard blue version which I love, but I really do like those matt grey dials! I think they deliberately increased the thickness on the ceramic version to keep the overall proportions looking good with the increased dial size.

I think you're right on the reasoning, I just wish they didn't increase the dial size OR the thickness. I'd own the ceramic version in a second if it were the same dimensions as the other SMP300's.

I just wish they'll size it down to 41mm again or maybe even 40mm and make it thinner. 13mm max please and I'll get it in different colors😅

Hi again Brad, I like plain steel bezels (like some of the lovely GMT watches featuring this) so I'd go for the Nekton, even if the bezel is harder to read than the ceramic version. Having said that, I'm not so keen on the Seamaster 300 frankly... I mean, what is it with the helium escape valve? If the watch was properly designed in the first place it wouldn't be necessary. If Sinn can do this, surely it shouldn't be too difficult for Omega to manage! Anyway, thanks again for another intriguing video. Cheers, Bob 👋
